Highbrighton is ideally situated 16 miles north of Charlottesville. We are 15 minutes by car to the Shenandoah National Park and 9 miles north of the Charlottesville-Albemarle Airport. Other local attractions nearby include James Madison’s Montpelier, Monticello, Ash Lawn and the University of Virginia. There are also many local wineries along with excellent restaurants nearby where you may sample Virginia wine. With such fantastic produce in the area, food lovers can be pointed in the direction of local farm shops, markets and food festivals. Highbrighton is a wonderful spot from which to explore the surrounding area, perfect for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts, and those wishing to explore the sophistication and southern charm of Charlottesville.

If you are looking for a fully private, nature filled getaway; look no further. The estate is something out of a magazine and the surrounding acreage is purely serene. [The staff] was very communicative and helpful with getting us settled in. The Carriage House has a great interior with all the amenities you should need.
